Where do the trip chaperones come from?Colorado Ski Academy works with each school to obtain 2 adult chaperones per bus. Depending on the school, chaperones could be teachers, other school staff, or parents of students.
What are chaperones responsible for?
Chaperones are responsible for checking all participants onto the buses in the morning. Chaperones ride on the buses with the students and are there to assist with any problems enroute. They also distribute name tags and lift tickets prior to our arriving at the ski resort.
Once we arrive at the ski resort and students are with their instructors, chaperones are free to ski or board for the day. Chaperones receive their package complimentary in exchange for their duties.
At the end of the day, chaperones check the students back onto the bus and make sure everyone is accounted for before the return trip. Chaperones also make sure all students are picked up when we return, so that no students are left unattended in the parking lot. If you are interested in volunteering to be a chaperone, call us
