What Are CSA Ski & Ride Chaperones Responsible For?

Chaperones are responsible for checking all participants onto the buses in the morning. Chaperones ride on the buses with the students and are there to assist with any problems enroute. They also distribute name tags and lift tickets prior to our arriving at the ski resort.

Upon arrival at the resort, chaperones supervise the unloading of their bus, and help ensure that students take their winter clothing (i.e. jackets, goggles, helmets, etc) with them. Chaperones also help direct students that are in a lesson program from the bus to their appropriate instructor. Once students are with their instructors, chaperones are free to ski or board for the day.

At the end of the day, chaperones check the students back onto the bus and make sure everyone is accounted for before the return trip. Chaperones also make sure all students get off the bus at the correct loading location. Chaperones receive a complimentary package in exchange for their duties.  This package includes transportation, adult lift ticket, and either free or reduced rate rental equipment. Chaperone packages are NOT transferable to anyone else.

If you are interested in volunteering to be a chaperone, call us at 303-798-0388.
